A UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Rideau Lakes Studio and Garden Tour takes place each year in the heart of the Rideau Lakes on the scenic Rideau Canal , a National Historic Site and Ontario ’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Participating artists live along the waterway and in the adjacent area. They take inspiration from the natural beauty and cultural heritage found in their surroundings. Come explore and enjoy this important World Heritage Site. Visit the artists’ studios where you can see the artisans at work, creating their artwork and handcrafted items, all one of a kind.
